Born in Guadalajara, Jal. (México).


 Self-taught painter, she studied with Cuban painters, Ruben Torres Llorca, Miguel Cubiles and Amehed Gómez.


 Began painting 21 years ago.

At its inception in 1990, used her maiden name Ma Esperanza Romero a few years later she shortened by her married name Mae Cubiles, her husband Miguel Cubiles also a painter, died in March 2005 were married for 27 years.

Ten years ago and to date clay sculpture in high temperature in the workshop of Joseph and Silvia Sacal  have formed a group of artists called \"La pandilla del arte\" among whith Maestros Raul Anguiano, Miguel Cubiles Jose Sacal, Gerardo Cedillo, Roberto Roque, and some other important painters.

She has had several solo exhibitions and over forty-six collective in Mexico, Cuernavaca, San Miguel de Allende, Puebla, Guadalajara, Madrid, Malaga, Miami, Poland and Japan.

She has made pottery workshops Uriarte Talavera in Puebla, along with the Masters Raul Anguiano, Miguel Cubiles, Paty Cajiga Jose Sacal and Gerardo Cedillo.

Her work was selected for the bienal of drawing-Silvia Pawa, in The Instituto México- Israel, last November 2009



She works in his studio in Mexico City, is preparing a future exposition titled \"The Hours\". Makes ceramic sculpture, painting and drawing in ink, dry pastel, oil cake, marker, acrylic and oil on canvas, bark paper and corrugated paper, in addition to experiencing multiple materials always looking for new things as jewelry, collage, photography, art object and digital art.
